Hastings District Libraries

Have you noticed some big gaps in the Business Section upstairs at Hastings Library?  Don't worry, your favourite business books, magazines and newspapers are still in the library. 

The Sir James Wattie Business Collection books are being shifted downstairs to Adult Non Fiction or over to the main Reference Collection.  A few magazines have been relocated in Havelock North Library.

This will make way for our new group study room upstairs - to be called the Sir James Watties Memorial Room.  Alterations to this area will start in the next few weeks.

The new study room will be partially glazed in and available for groups to book for meetings, discussions etc.  Projection equipment and computers will be available for use.  Staff are looking forward to being able to run tutorials for small groups, such as using our databases, computer software, email etc.
