Video Collection Removed

The Video collections have been removed from 1 July 2011.  Items in these collections have reached the end of their useful life and this format has not been purchased for several years, being replaced by DVDs.

Changes to Fees & Charges

There is a small increase in some charges:

• Best Seller books - increase to $4.50
  
• Best Seller magazines - increase to $2.50
• CD rental - increase to $1.50
• DVD rental (adult) - increase to $3.50
• DVD rental (junior) - increase to $2.50
• Card replacement (adult) - increase to $5.00
• Card replacement (junior) - increase to $3.00

Visitor Membership - from 1 July there is a charge of $20 for up to 3 months'  membership, with no refund. A visitor membership can be renewed once only, but the renewal will cost another $20 for up to three months' extension. 

The cost of internet, wireless internet, word processing and printing remains the same.

The extended loan charge rate for overdue items remains unchanged.

Council has endorsed the above changes to fees and charges.
