The Genealogy Section is located upstairs at Hastings Central Library
- Available to all library users during normal library hours
- To be used on a self help basis.
- As searching for information can be a very personal journey, please remember to respect each other's privacy at all times and be sensitive when offering help
Need help?
- Ask at the Reference information desk - staff can assist as time allows
- Friends of the Library - a genealogy volunteer is available Wednesday afternoons from 1pm until around 3pm to guide you in your research
- The Genealogical Society of New Zealand has a very active Hawke's Bay Branch
