• Personal ID and proof of both your permanent and temporary addresses are required.

• Only 3 items may be issued on your card at any one time.

• There is a charge of $20 payable on joining.  You will be refunded $15.00 of this when you cancel your membership, providing all items have been returned.

PIN Number

• Ask at the circulation desk to have a PIN number added to your library card.

• You may update your PIN number at any time online if logged in to My Account.

• A PIN number will enable you to log in to My Account in the libraries or from home, and access a range of services.

Place your reserves from the catalogue without typing in your library card number each time (charge $1.00 for each reserve).

Check your library card for items on issue, overdues, reserves and personal details.

• Create Email Alert Profiles informing you of new items arriving in the library by your favourite author or in your field of interest.

• View a list of previous items you have borrowed.  You will need to ask at the issues desk to have this feature enabled on your card.

• Create Suggestions for Purchase from the catalogue.  These go to our Acquisitions staff to consider.  If they decide to buy your suggestion for the library you will be placed on a reserves list.  If staff are unable to purchase an item (it may be out of print) or decide against purchasing you will be notified of this.  It may be possible to borrow the item from another library on Interloan.

To change your PIN number online on the online catalogue

• Login to My Account using your library card number as ID and your PIN number.

• Click on the tab Personal Details.

• Type in your old PIN number, then your new number, then confirm this by typing it again.

• Click the Update button.
