Mobile Phones

Not sure how to use your mobile phone? Book in for a FREE mobile phone lesson at one of our libraries!

Sessions are under a half hour each, so covering all topics may take more than one session, depending on your needs.

Ask at the desk about these sessions - we have staff who can show you how to use your mobile.  Read more...

Books at Home

Our Books at Home service provides library material on a regular basis for people who, for reasons of ill health or disability, are unable to come to the library.

Fiction, non-fiction, large print books, talking books, music CDs, magazines, DVDs and videos may all be borrowed through the service.  Talking books are available in various formats: on tape, CD, MP3, Mb4 & Playaway.   Items issued on your Books at Home care are for your use only.

If you are eligible to receive the Books at Home service please contact the Community Librarian at your library. You will be interviewed in your own home to find out your reading tastes, and to join you up if you are not already a library member.

You will be given a volunteer courier who will choose your books and bring them to you.

This service is free.

Volunteer Couriers

If you would like to help with the Books at Home service by being a courier for a housebound patron, please contact the Community Librarian at your library.
