Microfilm and Microfiche Readers 2 Microfilm and 6 Microfiche Readers are available upstairs in Hastings Library. There are 2 Canon 800 Microfilm Readers with the following services: |
Computer Access & Policies Hastings District Libraries provide access to email, the internet, word processing and online databases at all three libraries. Some charges apply. Printing in black & white and colour, and scanning is available. |
EFTPOSAll three libraries have EFTPOS facilities at the Issues desks. Payment of library charges may be made by EFTPOS. We cannot give change except for a small amount for photocopying or printing. We do not accept payment by credit card. |
FaxesA public fax service is available in all three libraries. Charges: Sending - Local and 0800 numbers: $1.00 per page Receiving - $1.00 per page |

Self Issue Machines Self Issue Machines are available at Hastings and Havelock North Libraries. Please ask for a demonstration if you would like to learn how to use these machines. |
Wifi at HCL HotspotWireless internet is available at Hastings Library, using our HCL Hotspot. Access is via prepay Hotspot tickets which can be purchased at the Reference desk upstairs (cash only) or at the Issue Desk downstairs (cash or EFTPOS). |
