Kotui Hastings District Libraries has upgraded to a new library system - Kōtui! The word 'kōtui' in te reo Māori means to interlace or interweave. Kōtui, which has already been launched successfully in a number of New Zealand libraries, provides an improved level of service which makes resources, not only print, easier to find. We will work hard to make the change-over to Kōtui as smooth as possible and our staff will guide you in the use of the new catalogue. |

Microfilm and Microfiche Readers 2 Microfilm and 3 Microfiche Readers are available upstairs in Hastings Library. There are 2 Canon 800 Microfilm Readers with the following services:
Ask at the Reference Desk to use these two machines. The other Microfiche Readers may be used as required, although staff are available to assist. |

Wifi at HCL HotspotWireless internet is available at Hastings Library, using our HCL Hotspot. Access is via prepay Hotspot tickets which can be purchased at the Reference desk upstairs (cash only) or at the Issue Desk downstairs (cash or EFTPOS). |
