A warm invitation is given to one and all to attend the Te Wa Pakiwaitara pre-school storytelling sessions held  in Hastings Library on the last Thursday of each month between 11:00am -11:30am. 

Come, listen, enjoy Pu Rakau (legends), Pakiwaitara (stories), waiata (song), whakatauaki (proverbs) and rauemi (creations).

This year’s themes encourages the Whanau to enjoy libraries, to learn about Ngati Kahungunutanga. 

All welcome! Te Wa Paikwaitara encourages both Te Reo Māori and English to be read, heard and spoken.
