This poetry writing competition is being held by Hastings District
Libraries.
Theme: txt language - any interpretation of this theme is acceptable.
The winners
will be announced at a prize giving on Monday 27 July 2009 , to be held
at Hastings Library from 3.45 - 4.45pm.
First prize is a $50.00 book voucher. A second and third prize will
also be awarded.
The Youth
Category is for entrants aged 12 to 19 years and will be judged by
Rachael Murphy from the Live Poet Society. The judge's decision is
final.
There is a 40
line limit per poem. More than one poem may be entered and each entry
must have an entry form attached (see below).
Entries must be
in by 5pm Monday 10 July 2009.
