Hastings District Libraries

On joining the Hastings District Libraries, you agree to:

• be responsible for all library material borrowed on your card,
• return library materials on time, pay charges and for lost or damaged items. 

You give approval for the Hastings District Council to take any appropriate steps they consider necessary for the security of any items borrowed, recovery of any such items or their replacement cost. 

Guarantors for junior members also agree:

• that the library cannot be held responsible for the suitability of materials borrowed,
• to ensure that the child's books are returned on time, to pay charges and make good any loss or damage incurred in the child's name.
