CREATING A HEALTHY ENERGY EFFICIENT HOME

We all know that a home free of cold, mould, dampness, condensation and high power bills has got to be a healthier home to live in, but the big question is where do you start in your efforts to achieve this?

There are so many products, so called solutions and recommendations on the market that it can get confusing. Energy Options have had years of experience in helping families create a warmer, drier, healthier and more energy efficient home.  Come along and find out their recommendations and the funding available to help pay for it.

Energy Options are experienced in the energy efficiency field; providing advice, heating, solar and insulation solutions. They are community owned and all of their efforts are directed towards helping communities to be warm, healthy & energy efficient. They are passionate about the environment and about helping those who are cold, vulnerable & at risk. They have been working with EECA for over 10 years; providing community advice, insulating homes, installing solar solutions and installing wood burning and pellet burning fires.

We tend to take water for granted, expecting clean drinking water when we turn on a tap and safe water for our recreational activities. But how many of us understand the realities of managing our water use or understand how our everyday activities impact on these expectations? We will discuss ways you can conserve water at home and also explain how the Hastings water supply works.
