Hastings District Libraries subscribe to a large number of national and international magazines, covering a wide range of topics.  Thousands of magazines / journals are also available via our online databases.

Magazine Collections

Most are held in the Magazine Collections at Hastings, Havelock North & Flaxmere Libraries.
In addition there are some special collections of magazines:

• Best Seller Magazines
• Māori Section Magazines
• YA magazines
• Reference Section

Online Databases

We also subscribe to online databases, allowing full text access to thousands more magazine titles. 

These databases can be accessed in the libraries (no charge) and most can be also be accessed from home.  See Databases
