How to borrow items, loan periods and charges, overdues and library notices, renewals, reserves and using the self issue machines.

Borrowing Information & Charges General information about borrowing, loan periods, rental & overdue charges, number of items that may be borrowed, receipts, renewals, visitors cards, lost cards and after hours returns. Read more » Borrowing Charges	Overdues & Library Notices Email Notices Members have the option of receiving all notices by email rather than post, including reserves notices, overdues, charges etc. This now includes a courtesy email service. You can receive an email three days before an item is due, giving you time to return or renew the item. Read more » Borrowing
Renewals You are welcome to renew items in person, by phone or online. See below for exceptions. Items may be renewed once only. There is no charge for renewing an item, but note that overdues and rental charges may apply.. Rental items cannot be renewed online, however you are welcome to renew rental items in person or by phone. The rental charge is payable for the new issue period. Read more » Borrowing Catalogue Features	Reserves You may place your own reservations online, either in the library or from home. Alternatively, ask a librarian to place reservations for you.
