NewspapersHastings District Libraries subscribe to newspapers in various formats:
At Hastings Library we hold Hawke's Bay Today for one year in print and previous years on microfilm. Please ask at the desk upstairs to access these. Print copies of newspapers are held at the library that receives the subscription for varying lengths of time. Please ask at the desk. Research ChargesAssistance with finding and using information is usually free of charge. However if you would like a librarian to do research on your behalf, charges may be involved. Our standard research charges then apply and these are listed below. We will consult you before we undertake any activity involving charges. There are some charges for non members using our Ask a Librarian services.
